2.1. Summary of the Action and its Objectives The proposed Action presents a new approach to meeting the needs and objectives of the Agricultural and Rural Development (ARD) sector. The programme directly responds to the Afghan National Priority Programme 2 (NPP2), which supports Comprehensive Agriculture Production and Market Development, as well as to the Agriculture and Rural Development's overall objective of the EU Multiannual Indicative Programme 2014-2020.
